Tony Harrington & Touch will be performing Saturday February 20th and 27th at Goodwin College One Riverside Dr. E. Hartford and The Red Rock Tavern on Capital Ave. in Hartford, CT.
The event at Goodwin College is a fundraiser for the Haitian relief effort. It is being sponsored by the student government association and student services. it will feature live entertainment by Tony Harrington & Touch as well as an enormously gifted group of singers, poets, spoken word artists and rappers. A silent aution will also be featurted during the days activities to help increase the overall funds being raised for this very worthy cause. The event will take place from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Saturday February 20th.
Tony Harrington & Touch will perform live at the Red Rock Tavern located on Capital Ave. in Hartford on Saturday February 27th. Small cover fee of $5. Ample parking is available and great food and a wonderful dancing atmosphere. Featuring John Davis, Keyboards, Peety Hinds, Drums, and Mark Moore, Bass, Daphne Falconer and Tony Harrington on vocals. At this very moment, many across the globe are struggling with the enormity of lives lost in the recent Haitian Earthquake. At this writing, over 50,000 lives have been lost. Fears that human loss may reach an unfathomable level of 200,000 are now feared dead. If you’d like to contribute to this worthy cause go to
www.ctforhaiti.org. This fund was established with the support of area community and civic leaders to address directly the immediate needs of the people of Haiti. You can also go to any Webster Bank in CT and make a contribution to the CT Haitian Earthquake Relief Fund. The present goal of this newly organized group is to raise $50,000 within two weeks. In addition, they plan to distribute barrels throughout the city and state whereby individuals and companies can contribute medical supplies, non-perishable food items and a host of other needed items.
